Tiger Woods 08

I finally caved on the weekend and pickup an Xbox 360 along with Madden 08, the game is ridiculous. However I’m even more pumped for Tiger Woods 08 (on sale tomorrow) I could see myself spending the upcoming long weekend making a serious run at the FedEx Cup.

Shaq Fu Dominating the Chinese

Thought this video was funny.. Shaq recently visited China and I guess he thought it would be fun to play some pick up ball against some Beijing ballers, aka the worst ballers ever. This clip shows a part of Shaq’s game we rarely see his sweet jumper and his point guard skillz.

756

Baseball has a new Home Run King, last night Barry Bonds hit his 756th Home Run off Mike Bacsik of the Washington Nationals. Bonds has had to endure a lot with the controversy surrounding the pursuit of Hank Aaron’s thirty-three year old record, however I think it’s still an amazing achievement. Hank Aaron’s words during the video tribue/post HR celebrations pretty much sum up my feelings.

I would like to offer my congratulations to Barry Bonds on becoming baseball’s career home run leader. It is a great accomplishment which required skill, longevity and determination. Throughout the past century, the home run has held a special place in baseball, and I have been privileged to hold this record for 33 of those years. I move over now and offer my best wishes to Barry and his family on this historic achievement. My hope today, as it was on that April evening in 1974, is that the achievement of this record will inspire others to chase their own dreams.”

Postcard From Chris Bosh

Hey Ryan,

Back in Texas for the summer, training for next season (nothing gets you ready for the NBA like 120 degree heat!) but wanted to say thanks for supporting me and the guys last year.

This season we’ve got a bunch of different ten game mini-packs (Eastern Conference, Western Conference, and weekends – each with collector’s items) so check them out at raptors.com (they tell me they go on sale August 13th).

Keep in touch,

#4 Chris Bosh

PS: We have a division title to defend so no excuses – see you at the ACC!
